The church is cruciform in outline with a massive central tower. It is built of sandstone from Alton, Runcorn and Bromsgrove in the English 14th Gothic style and is considered by many to be the masterpiece of the eminent Victorian architect G.F.Bodley. With a small local population, our congregation comes from a wide geographical area, drawn by our traditional form of worship.
